How to choose a bracelet size? Size guide
A bracelet should sit comfortably on the wrist — without pressing into the skin, slipping too easily, or feeling out of place with the way you like to wear jewelry.
In our product descriptions, we provide the full bracelet circumference in centimeters. Below you will find a simple guide on how to measure your wrist and choose the right model.
Note: models marked as Uni have a universal size. They usually fit most wrists thanks to an extender, adjustable fastening, or elastic construction.
How to measure bracelet size?
Measure your wrist at the point where you most often wear jewelry, then add a small amount of extra space. This helps the bracelet sit comfortably and naturally.
Wrist circumference
- Tape measure method: use a tailor’s measuring tape. Wrap it around your wrist, usually just behind the wrist bone. The tape should sit close to the skin without pressing into it.
- String method: use a thin string or a strip of paper. Wrap it around your wrist, mark the meeting point, and measure the length with a ruler.
Comfort allowance
Add extra space to the result according to your wearing preference.
- Close fit: + 0.5–1.0 cm (0.2–0.4 in).
- Classic fit: + 1.0–1.5 cm (0.4–0.6 in).
- Loose fit: + 1.5–2.0 cm (0.6–0.8 in).
Compare with the product description
Choose the model whose circumference is closest to your final result, meaning your wrist circumference plus the chosen allowance.
Tip: if you already have a bracelet that fits perfectly, measure its full length flat.
What else is worth considering?
- Models with an extender allow easy circumference adjustment.
- Elastic bracelets look best without being stretched too tightly.
- Rigid bangle bracelets usually need a little more room to pass comfortably over the hand.
If you are between two sizes, choose the model with a slightly larger circumference for greater comfort.
